HNRS 1901. Honors REACT: First-Year Seminar. 1 Credit Hour.
Honors REACT is a collaborative first-year seminar that introduces students to the Pillars of Temple Honors: Inclusive Community, Intellectual Curiosity, Integrity in Leadership, and Social Courage. Through shared readings, personal reflection, and collaborative discussion, you'll explore these pillars and begin to define your place within Temple, Honors, and Philadelphia. This course is the foundation of your Honors experience. You'll examine your identity, values, and goals, and connect them to your academic journey. Weekly activities are designed to build critical thinking, spark curiosity, encourage meaningful dialogue, and engage with the communities around us. All students follow the same schedule and assignments, creating a shared experience across the first-year Honors class.
