LEWIS KATZ SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

About the Program

The MS in Clinical Investigation is designed for physicians, medical and graduate students, and other qualified trainees from within and beyond our health system. The opportunity for junior faculty, residents, and fellows to gain formal research training will be of considerable benefit for retention, while bolstering their research skills and competitiveness for funding. The program’s curriculum features faculty from the School of Pharmacy and the LKSOM. Coursework is complemented by mentored clinical research, culminating in writing and defending a thesis. For the Certificate track, the trainee’s capstone project produces two sections of an Investigational New Drug application. Trainee success is ensured by both our exceptional clinical research environment, provided by TUHS and the Fox Chase Cancer Center (FCCC), and the effective mentoring our students will receive from our superb clinical researchers.
