About the Certificate

The Graduate Certificate in Applied Health Outcomes and Artificial Intelligence in the School of Pharmacy at Temple University provides current pharmaceutical professionals and pharmacy students the opportunity to enhance their credentials and skills in AI-driven data use and analysis. The certificate is designed to build practical expertise in evidence generation, healthcare decision science, and data-driven evaluation. Growth and changes in healthcare and life sciences landscape have created a clear need for professionals who understand how to work with RWE, interpret digital health data, and appropriately apply AI methods in clinical, economic, and patient-centered outcomes research.  . Graduates will be prepared for a wide range of roles, including health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), medical affairs, market access, RWE analytics, population health, health policy, quality improvement, and digital health evaluation.

Time Limit for Certificate Completion: 3 years

Campus Location: Online, asynchronous and synchronous.

Full-Time/Part-Time Status: The certificate may be completed on a part-time basis. 

Non-Matriculated Student Policy: Non-matriculated students may take up to 9 credits of coursework before applying to the certificate program.

Admission Requirements and Deadlines

Application Deadline:
Fall admissions, with a deadline of July 30. Interested students should contact the School of Pharmacy for permission to enroll in course work.

Bachelor's Degree in Discipline/Related Discipline:
Applicants must meet the following requirements: BS degree in a related field (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biology, math, chemical engineering or biochemistry) from an accredited institution
