Learn more about the Master of Accountancy.
About the Program
The Master of Accountancy program is designed for students pursuing the CPA designation and careers in public accounting, corporate accounting, and related fields. The program is suitable for both accounting and non-accounting undergraduate majors.
The MAcc curriculum combines advanced core coursework in financial accounting and reporting, auditing and assurance, and taxation and regulation with technology-focused courses including IT auditing and Generative AI for accounting professionals. CPA exam preparation is directly integrated into the curriculum, enabling students to study for and sit for all four parts of the CPA exam during the program.
MAcc faculty and career development coaches work closely with each student to identify opportunities that align with their individual strengths and goals, drawing from close-knit recruiting partnerships with Big Four, national and regional public accounting firms, and industry partners. The MAcc program is STEM certified.
