Overview
The Minor in Religion, offered by the Department of Religion and Ancient Mediterranean Studies, is an excellent addition to the degree programs in the College of Liberal Arts or other colleges throughout Temple University. Students who have an interest in world history and providing sensitive patient care will find this program of study especially helpful.
Residency Requirement: Students who declare a College of Liberal Arts' minor must complete at least half of the program at Temple University. This minor requires 6 courses (18 credits); at least 3 courses must be taken at Temple.
Minimum Grade and GPA Requirements: A minimum grade of C- must be earned in all courses in the minor as well as a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the discipline to earn this credential.
Restrictions: Students may not combine this program with the following CLA programs:
- BA in Liberal Studies
- BA in Religion
Minors are awarded only at the time of completion of the bachelor's degree and cannot be awarded either as a stand-alone program of study or after completion of the first bachelor's degree.
